Echo Wings I & II
For Students Entering: Grades 5-9
Dates: July 5-10 & 12-17

Echo Wings Camp is a 6-day residential camp for 5th through 9th grade students who want to participate in activities exploring nature and wildlife. Through a variety of activities campers will develop skill as a naturalist. A special emphasis will be on bird watching and developing a sense of stewardship for the natural world. Campers will participate in early morning bird walks, nature canoe trips, late night owl prowls, and many nature exploration activities. Along with developing their naturalist skills, the campers will develop an environmental stewardship ethic to learn to observe and respect nature.

Who Can Participate?
The camp is open to any student entering grades 5 through 9 who have a strong interest in exploring nature and bird watching. Applicants should have some previous experience in observing nature and birds. Since this camp has a limited number of campers (20), applications will be treated on a combination of first-come, first-served basis.

Cost
The $425 fee includes meals, transportation, accommodations, activities and instructional materials. $175 deposit must be included with the application. The $250 balance is due upon acceptance to the camp. The deposit is non-refundable if the student is accepted.

Application Procedures
1. Parents must complete the front of the Student Application Form.
2. A $175.00 deposit must be sent with the application form by March 17, 2008.
3. The balance of the fee ($250.00) will be due upon acceptance to the camp.
